US vitamin D levels for non-Hispanic blacks, Hispanics, and non-Hispanic whites are deficient for most.  They are 46.6, 57.2, and 75.2 nmol/L, resp.  Vitamin D council recommends 125 nmol/L.  World health Organization states below 50 nmol/liter is deficiency.

Quercetin (in apples, cherries, and blueberries) was shown to reduce intracellular lipid accumulation in a dose-dependent fashion.

Recently we showed that lean seafood consumption reduced circulating triacylglycerol (TG) and VLDL concentrations and prevented an elevated total-to-HDL-cholesterol ratio relative to intake of a nonseafood diet.  Lean seafood consumption helped by reducing postprandial concentrations of C-peptide and lactate and the TG/HDL-cholesterol ratio in healthy adults.

The total intake of fruit and vegetables was unrelated to semen quality. However, the intake of fruit and vegetables with low-to-moderate pesticide residues was associated with a higher total sperm count and sperm concentration, whereas the intake of fruit and vegetables with high pesticide residues was unrelated to semen quality.

Medium-Chain Triglycerides in Combination with Leucine and Vitamin D Increase Muscle Strength and Function in Frail Elderly Adults. Sarcopenia, the loss of skeletal muscle mass, strength, and function, is common in elderly individuals but difficult to treat. Dosages were daily L-leucine (1.2 g); 800 IU vitamin D. Get medium chain fats from cheese, yogurt, milk, and butter.
