1. Whole milk intake is associated with prostate cancer deaths - Previous studies have associated higher milk intake with greater prostate cancer (PCa) incidence. The intake of total dairy products was associated with 12% increased PCa incidence >2.5 servings/d vs. ≤0.5 servings/d. Skim/low-fat milk intake was positively associated with risk of low-grade, early stage, and screen-detected cancers, whereas whole milk intake was associated with 49% greater fatal PCa (1 serving/d) vs. rarely consumed].

2. Healthy 70-90 yr olds need vitamin B12 - Those without supplements had 190pmol/L. 10micrograms daily increased levels to 250. 500micrograms daily raised level to 360! 25% of subjects were deficient even after getting 500micrograms daily for 8 weeks.

3. Probiotics and low exposure to allergens reduce allergic reactions - Probiotic supplementation and oral tolerance induction can reduce certain types of food allergy.
