Welcome to Nutriton  Investigator Roc’s nutrition blog. First there are links explaining what this site is.  Then there are suggestions for using this site.

1. WHAT THIS SITE IS: This is my database for sharing all of the latest information from peer-reviewed scientific journals and professional books that I read about nutrition, for my research and college teaching about nutrition. On the toolbar at the top of the main page, you find a link to About – how Roc Ordman obtains the peer-reviewed information for this site

2. HOW TO USE THIS SITE:
A. To find information on a specific topic, on the right edge of the toolbar at the top of the main page, you find a Magnifying Glass. It is a search command to find the key word(s) you enter. It will only find pages containing all of the words you enter, for instance Arthritis, vitamin C, headache will find only articles with all three of those words in the same page. If there are lots of articles, an arrow at the bottom of the page provides more pages containing the key words you provided.
B. To learn legitimate nutrition information usually linked to peer-reviewed publications in general, on the toolbar click on CATEGORIES – My effort to index main areas of interest
C. To get bimonthly summaries written by me with links to the latest nutrition research findings published in the two best nutrition journals, the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition and the Journal of Nutrition,  send an email to ordman@beloit.edu, SUBJECT: add to nutrition mailing list.  I will then add you to the hundreds of people worldwide who get the latest summaries of what is being discovered that is legitimate. D.  Note that there is a ton of nonsense and marketing about nutrition these days – None of that will be found at this site, though there are responses to certain widespread errors in the media – see the CATEGORY: Media responses.  You can also click on Contact – Where you can send a comment. I usually reply within a week.  If your question is of general interest, I also post the response under the Category, Questions.

E. Comments, Questions and Suggestions are welcome to ordman@beloit.edu
