Roc, I read a bit of a refutation of the China Study after watching the film Forks Over Knives several months ago, and wanting to do more research on the background material. Have you read such a reinterpretation/refutation? It was a while ago, but what I generally recall is that there were variables within the geographical areas studied which were not accounted for. Ring any bells? If not, I’ll go back and look up the information and send it to you in the next week or so. Thank you for your good work in any event.
Regards, a grateful reader
Dear reader: I have not seen any refutation of the China Study, but would be interested. He describes why most of the scientific community has discarded his work. But I actually had students do research in the professional literature about many of his claims, like that the diet removes plaque from arteries, and indeed all of his work was verified in peer-reviewed scientific publications. If you check all of his claims, there are almost always data and independent peer-reviewed articles confirming them.
