SUBJ: Value in taking melatonin supplements

Baby aspirin regimen reduces COVID risk and damage

SHORT NOTES: Melatonin has many benefits;  Low-dose aspirin (75mg) reduced Covid-19 infection risk by 29% and shortened virus duration by about two days;  Iron level must be neither high nor low; AI-based electromagnetic therapy shows that patients recovered 77% faster from the disabilities caused by the stroke and were able to resume normal life; cancer occurs more frequently for those with a lower rate of cellular senescence.

LONG NOTES

Melatonin restores circadian disruption through regulation of clock genes; Melatonin reduces Alzheimer’s disease pathology through autophagy mechanisms of BECN1 and mTOR pathway; Melatonin enhances autophagosome formation and inhibition of autophagic degradation. https://doi.org/10.1016/j.arr.2021.101304

Israel’s Covid-19 infection rate has fallen such that hospitals are now closing their coronavirus wards. 50% of Israelis are now fully vaccinated against Covid-19. They found low-dose aspirin (75mg) reduced Covid-19 infection risk by 29% and shortened virus duration by about two days.

Low serum iron level was a risk factor for Stroke-Associated Pneumonia (SAP), and there was an L-shaped relationship between them. Stroke patients with low serum iron levels should be alert to the risk of SAP.

Israel’s BrainQ that the double-blind trial of its AI-based electromagnetic therapy shows that patients recovered 77% faster from the disabilities caused by the stroke and were able to resume normal life. The therapy now has FDA Breakthrough Device Designation.

In sum, we introduce a novel predictor of cellular senescence and apply it to diagnostic medical images, indicating cancer occurs more frequently for those with a lower rate of senescence.
