Eat strawberries – This study compared the effects of supplementation with a polyphenol-rich pomace from strawberry (US) and a strawberry pomace without most of these compounds (PS)…The polyphenols lowered serum insulin, liver total cholesterol, and conjugated dienes. 1b. Eat blueberries – Previous studies in our laboratory demonstrated that blueberry (BB) extract exhibited antitumor activity against MDA-MB-231 triple negative breast cancer (TNBC) cells and decreased metastatic potential in vitro.1c. Eat yogurt – Probiotic Lactobacillus reuteri (mentioned frequently at the Linus Pauling meetings as a basis to eat a teaspoon of yogurt or probiotics every day) alleviates irritable bowel syndrome and stomach distension
